Another useful setup here... I made some sign frames to use at my events.
You'll see that I have 1/2 inch pipe inside of the 3/4 pipe, with some pins. I use the half inch inner conduit as an extension rod in case I want to use a taller banner. My little trailer is only 8 foot long, so if I built the frame too tall it wasn't going to fit. The feet work the same way. I drop the frame onto them and put a pin thru it. You can see those feet in the corner of the trailer by the tire.
One of the goals was to keep volunteers from needing tools to assemble it. The allen wrenches are easy enough to use, but I can see them getting lost every couple of weeks.
