My first build. A trellis/archway between two raised beds in my garden. For the fall, I just plants a bunch of sweet peas, then next year there will be beans, squash, and other climbers. If they don't shade out the other beds too much, I plan on making another one in the spring.
After cutting ever, I spray painted the pipe and connectors. There's 5 foot rebar pieces in the ground 3 feet deep, angled in a way to help secure the trellis, and I used jute garden twine to add extra stuff for plants to grip on someone's suggestion here. That way, I can cut the twine off and toss it in the compost bin/pile if I can't easily detach the vines at the end of growing season.
