I’m building a shelf unit with my son for his room. Our old house has level-challenged floors some I’m thinking of adding leveling feet. The plan is to add those threaded hammered inserts into the end of the conduit <> Then use a 1/4 20 foot like these <>. That’ll level it but will it be strong enough to support bookshelves? Thoughts?

Comment to my own question. Should I really be using 1” conduit instead for strong shelves? If so are there foot options for 1”. I know there are much heavier duty 3/8 feet, but I don’t think there are threaded inserts that work.

I think that's a great idea!

You could always attach a board to your wall to establish a level starting point then go from there.
