Attached are a few picks of a raised cot / bunk bed that we custom built into our RV. The couch automatically tilts up without hitting the cot. Now our 5 year old can sleep on the cot while mommy and daddy sleep underneath.

I am trying to do the same thing! How did you attach the springs to the EMD pipe and fabric? What did you use for the actual bed, duck horn canvas?

We purchased the Coleman Comfortsmart Cot from Walmart and used the duck horn canvas and attachment springs from that kit. We then built our own raised frame with the Maker Pipe and drilled holes into the pipe identical to the holes in the Coleman Cot. The corners of the cot are softly bent so you may need to replicate those bends. And the underside needs a dipped support to keep the pipes from bowing inwards when someone lays on the cot. Other than that, it's simply a raised Coleman Cot.
