First test of my solar bike trailer design 😊Tested out the structure weighed down with 40lbs of dog food. The panel tilts side to side with an actuator. Things worked well. My goal is to have the panel track the sun. Next step is the control system. Using a particle boron with Bluetooth, tilt sensor, compass, and gps. The panel charges an extra Bosch battery. Design should hold a Renogy 175watt flex panel.
I initially used conduit and 3D printed parts to connect everything. Then I found Maker Pipe! It made things much easier :-)
