Has anybody written an offset guide for each of the different types of connectors? As an example, the T connector drawing shows a depth for the pipe end, but not the distance to the clamped (through) pipe.

As a sort of guesstimate in that specific case, I reckon the gap between the pipe end and clamped pipe is

3.07" (overall size) - 1.22" (allowance for pipe end) - 1.13 (thickness of the pipe end, assumed identical for the clamp) = .72"

For planning purposes, this seems to me like a really crucial measurement missing on pretty much all the product page drawings.
