Mark made some great changes and modifications to the Kayak cart design we've all seen numerous times. That's the beauty of conduit and connectors. You can adjust things for your specific needs!

"When I first saw this cart video on youtube, I thought this is the one! Strong, tough and easy to build. Still do. But I didn't realize how short it was. Now, my thinking is, "if I'm going to drag this thing on a 45 deg. angle, I might just as well use the "wheel in the keel". I wanted something that was level when dragged, which entailed making it bigger. I also wanted to add a couple of extra rails that would fit into the cavities underneath that would not let the kayak yaw or need bungees to hold it in place. Self centering. The Makerpipe fittings made that easy. The downside to this build is size, and cost a bit more...about $180. You need a truck, and you can't put it in your yak. The only place I use this is when I have to drag it a fair distance over trails . I cable lock it to a tree when fishing. The upside is that it makes loading and unloading a snap, is stable and even if it does slip forward or back, it's easy to center. I highly recommend Makerpipe."
