I tried to use the Pro T Connectors but I have an issue. While the grip of the connector that grips the EMT at a 90° angle holds it tightly, the end of the connector where the EMT enters the end doesn’t hold the EMT securely and it keeps slipping out. Am I suppose to drill a hole in the EMT and insert a screw into the hole that exists in each connector to secure the EMT? Any suggestions?

Where am I?

There are a few things you can do to give the connector a bit more grip.  We sell extra friction bands in packs of 12 that match those on the connectors that can be added to the pipe to give some extra grip.  Another option is to add a self tapping screw as you mentioned.  Those can also be found on our site or at your local hardware store.
