Pedal boats are great fun - really they're stable and social - and I have nothing bad to say about them except rain and docks.

Whether you store a pedal boat deck side up or hull side up it's going to fill up with rain - lots of it, sometimes to the point where it's difficult to lift to dump the water out.

The dock problem is in what we boaters call the boats beam, which is it's width when lying on its hull. Most docks have a gangway connecting the fixed part of the dock to the floating part and there are typically only two or 3 feet wide. Which makes getting a pedal boat down to the water a herculean task even for three or four people.

But Maker Pipe has solved both problems with my slide on, stand up pedal boat storage and transportation cart. It enables the craft to move easily up and down the dock and store in a standing position which collects no rain. The design allows the car to lay down so that the boat can slide up the support rails and then be lifted onto all four wheels. I couldn't be happier, and we are using the pedal boat and having drinks much more often.
