@Jake, I remember seeing a video you did testing the strength of an adjustable angle hinge and assume the same load would be for the adjustable angle flange. I wonder what the maximum load is if the stress is perpendicular to the hinge direction. I ask because I am using 3/4 inch maker pipe for a hand rail on a curved, sloping ramp and would like to have some confidence in the strength should I slip and suddenly grab the hand rail putting stress on the flange. I will be using adjustable angle flanges because the sloping ramp will require compensating for the slope. The flanges will be attached to concrete using 1/4 x 3 3/4 Tapcon concrete anchor hex head screws. Thanks, Stuart
