Simple yet effective trellis design one year later! They also shared a video of the trellis loaded down with tomatoes. Check it out here.

"I thought I would share what we made a year ago. This is a lower and lean trellis in our school garden. We grew 33 varieties of tomatoes in a relatively small space. The kids loved it! Parents were pretty curious too. It allowed us to grow indeterminate tomatoes in raised beds that ended up getting about 15’ long, but using the lower and lean system, we kept the ripe fruit within reach for the kids the whole time.

The only issue I ran into was that the conduit pipes started sinking with the weight of the tomatoes, making the structure uneven. I think I have a solution this year to avoid that happening again though. Looking forward to another epic year of tomatoes!" - Dave
