This is my first design using maker pipe. Want to know if what I have designed will be stable enough for dividing the interior space of our doggie palace. :) We have 2 German shepherd mix mutts and a Britany spaniel. Not too worried about the Brit, but the bigger 2 like to jump. Decided to go with the 1" piping for extra durability. The wired portion will be 6' with a 3" gap at the bottom to facilitate cleaning. The kennels are 6' deep and the gates are 2'x6'. Because the walls and floor are concrete/cinderblock, we will have to use concrete bolts for the connections to the floor and the lower walls. Any suggestions on best bolts for this? The upper flanges will go into studs. Planning on using rolled welded wire between the piping. Any suggestions on best ways to connect it? We are using mostly T connectors except for the top middle where we will use a 180 connector and 2 90's for the right hand wall divider. Plan on using the PVC hinges (3 each) for the 3 gates. Still looking for a gate latch solution for the 1" piping. We also plan to put in swivel feeding bowls on the gates. Should we use an additional pipe to support the bowls? Any possible problem areas you see, please comment.
