It started with the squirrels. Stealing our tomatoes just as they reached perfect ripeness. Learning to trip the Have-a-Heart trap before they poached the tomatoes. Watching them jump into the garden from the nearby trees. Maker Pipe to the rescue. A 10 x 14 x 6 foot cage covered in heavy duty 1/2" mesh bird netting- top and sides. We added the more typical garden netting around the bottom so people wouldn't walk into the netting. Oh yes, landscape cloth on the bottom to frustrate the chipmunks. Extra bonus? A pipe for our anemometer. We'll see if this works.
