I found another way to connect Makerpipe to a wall.

Some time back you posted some tips on connecting pipe parallel to a wall. All of them were good options depending on the situation, but this weekend I found another.

I installed an awning frame which is mostly supported by vertical posts. However, the center of the high span is against a wall and there's no vertical support to hold it. Additionally, I needed it tight to the wall and tidy. Coincidentally, I had already solved my problem with my previous awning build.

The old structure connected at this point with a simple eye-bolt attached to the trim of the house. This small eye-bolt was the PERFECT size to tuck into the Structural Coupling fitting - the straight connector for just 2 pipes. The eye bolt fit perfectly into the opening around the screw, and the MP hardware screw went through the coupling, and through the eye bolt, clamping tight as usual. It's hard to photograph but here are a couple of photos. Hopefully they make sense. This did a great job to support the middle of an 18' span, as well as add a lot of lateral structure to the build.
