A while back Byung shared his gazebo build with us and recently sent me some close ups and details about the custom hub connector he made for the top center.
He said the steel disk is 1/8” thick and 5” in diameter. He flattened one side of short stubs of conduit that mount to the disc. Then the other side of the stubs have a tube insert and thread together with another piece of conduit. From there he attached the roof framework to the sides with connectors and more threaded rods. Super clever design for a gazebo roof!
