"My wife asked me to visit a friend's chicken wire squirrel-proof garden enclosure and then asked me to build one for her. The friend's enclosure was roofed with PVC pipe, requiring a support post in the middle, which my wife asked me to avoid. Seeing your Makerpipe ideas, I thought the conduit would do the job if supported correctly.
What you see in the photos are the Makerpipe structure built on top of 4x4 posts, a detail shot showing the connectors, and a shot of the finished structure, green vinyl coated hardware cloth on the bottom 4 feet and 1" chicken wire above to allow pollinators in. This may be your largest garden structure yet- it's 15 feet by 30 feet. I live in a pretty snobby urban neighborhood, but the structure is widely regarded as rather classy. The structure is really solid and the connectors were easy to install. I did completely dull your tube cutter, but I cut a lot of tubing (primed and painted green)."
