Completed project - fire/spark suppression screen (as required by local ordinance) for a 5' diameter backyard burn pit. I added a door for easier access to stoke the fire. I used the t-connector over a 1/2 inch conduit without the shim so it would rotate like hinges. It is sprayed with high-temp auto part paint to help with heat resistance.
