Hello fellow builders! I'm brand new here (which will be obvious when you see my creation!). I recently discovered Maker Pipes and the community built around them when some dear friends of mine from California decided to move to my home town, Motown aka Detroit, Michigan (more specifically Hamtramck but it's a two square mile town surrounded on all sides by the D). I'm currently getting my bachelor's degree for audio production and I have a fair amount of sensitive gear that normally stays in my living room. My friends are living with me until they can find a house and one of them is a wild four year old boy who likes to play with all the buttons and knobs on my musical gear. I had to move my studio into my bedroom which is pretty small. I had no room to do anything. I stumbled across Maker Pipes while trying to find a solution. I needed to get my bed off the floor to make room for my gear! Here it is so far but I'm afraid I underestimated the weight of my mattress with me on it! I also made it a bit too big because I didn't consider the extra length of the fittings. I just ordered what it's going to take to brace it up and stop it from being so rickity rackity! I'll post pictures when I get it done and the studio is back in effect but for now, here's what I have going on...
