Hop trellis build. I grow a special variety of hops in my year for making beer. Hops can grow up to 30 feet high each year and need a lot of sun. It was not practical for me to put up a 20 or 30 foot set of poles for the new hop locations. I decided to give the hops an overhang to grow on to provide the surface area while only going 10 feet high and avoiding a possible issue with power and fiber lines close by. To save space in the yard I installed the hop trellis in front of a grape arbor so the hops grow though a grape vine. These photos are over two months. You can see how fast hops grow too. Cheers!
