I was inspired by the YouTube video of the remote school desk released recently. It's hard to get desks right now too. Maker Pipe was a great choice for this build because of the amount of space I had to work in. I would not be able to find a desk that would fit perfectly like building my own. I also thought I could save on connectors by bending. I don't think I did though. It would have been the same since I chose to add a middle support. The underside paint job is sloppy, but no-one can see it except now, the internet.
