My first project was building two rolling towers and a connecting light truss to go around my computer desk. The shelves are made from reclaimed oak used in railroad cards. Both the desk and the pipe structure glide in and out independently so I can get in there to swap cables or equipment. The RoboCup cupholder is AMAZINGLY good at holding my phone, my keys, my wallet, my Maglight, and my frosty beverage. It clamps on to the pipe with serious spring force and I love it. I learned an awful lot from this project and I appreciate everyone's help.
