I wanted to share my build. I have had problems with raccoons, squirrels and rats eating my tomatoes and peppers before I get to. So this year I decided to step up my security.

The enclosure has three fixed sides with a pipe connecting them at the floor. The front side and top are attached with hinges to allow me access to the plants. I have automated drip irrigation set up, so I only need to get in there occasionally. I used half inch hardware cloth secured with stainless steel zip ties to keep the critters out.

I sized it for the 7-gallon pots I like to use. It has room for 11 of them. I constructed the catch to be fairly easy to dissasemble into the finished sides so I can store it out of the way in the off season.
