I built this high tunnel for our tomato growing area this spring. It will be covered with plastic to extend the season in Fall and Spring. We live in Minnesota so I will remove the covering to eliminate snow load on it. The side walls are approximately 7’-6” tall. The overall size is 10’ wide by 16’ long. Currently the frames are setting over re-rod stakes pounded into the ground. When it is covered with the plastic it will get anchored to the ground to prevent wind lift picking it up. For the horizontal pipes I used T-connectors and 180 degree connectors. To install the ridge pipe I used self-drilling screws to keep the peak smooth to lessen wear on the covering.
