I'm excited to use conduit to build an arbor for my new grape vines, but I'm still confused about the best way to attach the conduit posts to the ground. I see that folks are using 3/4 inch rebar stakes for 3/4 inch conduit, but I want to use 1 inch conduit for extra strength (and because that's what the closest hardware store to me sells), but I can't seem to find 1 inch rebar to match it. Does anyone have suggestions of where to get a few pieces of 1 inch rebar, or other materials/techniques that would make sturdy posts for a grape arbor? Thanks!
