Since building the awning for our porch entrance on our home, I wanted an awning for our garage service door. I used 3/4” EMT, 135 degree connectors, T-connectors and 2 flanges from Maker Pipe. One-hole straps connect it to solid wood blocking inside and outside the building. To support the steel under the ridge cap to the ridge pipe, I modified two-hole straps to match the 135 degree connector angle and pop riveted the steel to them.

Every winter, while shoveling snow from this doorway, I get snow falling off the light fixture and often enough down the collar of my coat. Not anymore with this awesome awning. Thank you Maker Pipe for making your high quality, strong, affordable and easy to use connectors.
